We have been issuing, promoting, administrating, and processing payments of Visa and Mastercard credit cards for over 30 years. Are you an experienced professional in Operational Risk management seeking a challenging role in the financial sector? Are you always conscious of Non-Financial risks, and are you driven to help control those risks? Do you have a proven track record in implementing Risk Mitigating measures? We are looking for someone to join our team, with a good understanding of managing Non-Financial risks and who is able to advise management in enhancing risk control.

Your job

The organization is currently changing in order to serve customers and the market even better, with the safety and reliability of our services being the cornerstone. We are rebalancing our business model, which means challenging but exciting times for ICS. Countervailing power is a driving force in shaping our strategic direction. As Operational Risk Manager you will report directly to the Manager Risk Management of ICS. 

This rapid development of digitalization within ICS requires Risk managers with IT affinity and knowledge in the field of data governance, processes, and controls as well as special interest in new technologies such as social media, mobile, data analytics, blockchain and regulatory compliance. 
 

Responsibilities:
-    Facilitate risk assessments across the organization and help enhancing risk control measures.
-    Provide clear expert opinions and recommendations to management on non-financial risk management issues. 
-    Prepare and present detailed risk reports, with trend analyses, and aligned risk opinions on key risk and key performance indicators.
-    Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as IT, legal, compliance, and senior management to drive a culture of security awareness and compliance.
-    Stay updated on emerging threats, trends, in Non-financial Risk types to proactively advise the companies’ security posture.
 

Your profile

-    Preferably a Post HBO/Post Master in risk management, or related field, or studying for one.
-    A professional risk management related certifications such as PRM, CRMP, CRISC, CIA or CRMA.
-    Knowledge of (Enterprise) risk management frameworks, and relevant regulations.
-    Ideally around 5 years of experience in non-financial risk management, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
-    Proven ability to assess control effectiveness, analyze complex issues, develop actionable plans, and drive results.
-    Experience in enhancing risk awareness and providing training in the risk management domain.
-    Good communication, and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams and departments.
-    Driven self-starter focused on collaboration and knowledge sharing and who can convey his ideas in a positive way to the other team members.
-    Good understanding of both English and Dutch, spoken and written.

- The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
- The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
- Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
- Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
