About this role:

At Just Eat Takeaway.com, we’ve built a world-class Enterprise Risk Management team that believes passionately in protecting the achievements of our corporate strategy. As an Enterprise Risk Manager, you’ll have the ability to play a major role in mitigating JET’s enterprise risks and exploiting our biggest opportunities.

As a key liaison between your team and the rest of the organisation, you will work closely with a variety of stakeholders, including the Director InfoSec Risk and Control, VPs, Directors, and Management Board members. You will participate in recurring meetings to report on the progress and status of Enterprise Risk Management to senior leadership.

You will be reporting to the Director InfoSec Risk and Control who is responsible for the leadership, governance, and management necessary to identify, evaluate, mitigate, and monitor the company's risks, and who is responsible for ensuring that the company's risk management policies and strategies are in compliance with applicable regulations, and strategic objectives of the company.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Process: Fine-tuning and managing the overall ERM process across the company, including policy and compliance audits, and liaising with auditors and regulators.
Risk Identification and Assessment: Conducting risk assessments across all company operations, identifying social, environmental, and business risks, and analysing current and potential risks.
Risk Evaluation and Appetite: Evaluating past risk handling, comparing against company criteria (e.g., costs, legal), and establishing the company's risk appetite.
Risk Reporting and Education: Tailoring risk reports for different audiences, educating senior management and employes on significant risks, and promoting accountability across functions.

What will you bring to the table?

Significant experience in enterprise risk management
Effective Communication: Comfortable in front of Execs, demonstrating strong English language skills (written & spoken), adapting communication styles to diverse groups, and listening actively to gain deeper insights.
Problem-Solving and Process Optimization: Analysing complex situations with insightful questions, using various inputs to drive improvements, and integrating them into work processes to ensure high-quality outcomes.
Technical Expertise and Innovation: Possessing a broad understanding of enterprise risk management, specialising in specific areas, and leveraging new technologies to enhance team effectiveness and operational efficiency.
Leadership and Influence: Tackling complex issues with courage, effective persuasion and influence, skillful negotiation, and directing change through uncertainty.
