We are looking for an Engagement Manager / Project Leader who is able to help execute the NN Group wide strategic direction for the years to come. Like many companies, NN Group is focused on digital transformation. In this respect, we developed an extensive programme, called ‘Future Ready‘. The overall direction of the journey we embarked on is clear, but no doubt there will be changes and challenges during the execution of our plans – which you will be guiding. Key elements include IT simplification, Data & AI, digital & frictionless journeys, standardizing support processes and profitable growth.

You will be in charge of the execution of NN’s Group wide transformation for the coming years. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

You will be having a leading role within the Future Ready Transformation Office, focused on making NN future ready in the years to come
You will be initiating and leading projects, in which you will work as a senior internal management consultant with internal NN clients
You will be responsible for making these projects a success, from the initiation phase towards presenting the conclusions of the implementation to the Management Board of NN Group
These projects will include questions around growth initiatives (cross border and cross products), steering the distribution channel mix without impacting customer satisfaction, AI related delivery across NN, and organisational steering challenges
You will act as a gateway for consultancy spend within NN
You will prepare updates for the Management Board (MB) and Supervisory Board (SB)

Looking for an experienced engagement manager in strategy or big4 consultancy with at least 8 years of experience in the financial industry, who can combine strategic vision with project management and project steering
Must have experience or strong affinity with the ins and outs of an insurance company, including market research and trends, keeping up with practices and market behaviour, and monitoring the long-term effects of business changes
Proven track record of meeting client goals and project timelines and providing mentorship to less senior team members
Strong stakeholder management skills, approachable personality, and ability to work and communicate with diverse groups of stakeholders in different cultural, functional, and geographical boundaries
Highly structured professional with strong business acumen, 'can-do' mentality
Excellent communication skills (English required, Dutch is valued)

Your position is reporting directly to Head of the Future Ready Transformation Office, which falls directly under the MB of NN Group.
