Your role

As a Zanders Director Credit Risk you will join our management team that manages the ‘Financial Institutions’ team in the UK. Your team will jointly work on innovation with the credit risk specialist of the Zanders global teams, an international group of 100+ highly qualified Financial Risk Management Consultants with a quantitative background.

Skills to be successful

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Master degree in relevant field
• A strong interest in developing, designing and performing the quantification and management of credit risk
• At least 12 years of experience in model development and model validation in the credit risk area within financial institutions or consultancy
• Experience in managing and coaching a team of ambitious people
• Experience in working with the CRO or the head of risk management and comparable decision takers
• A network of credit risk management specialists at financial institutions in the UK
• Knowledge of and experience with A-IRB models
• Interest in regulations and experience with inspections and discussions with regulators.
• Knowledge of programming is a pre
• Ambitious, entrepreneurial, innovative, strategic thinker
• Fluent in English
