At a glance

Are you excited to play a key role in delivering upon the promise to our customers to become a personal bank in the digital age? Do you have affinity with business process management and a digital mindset? And are you someone who can mobilise teams to collaborate, enable execution and get the right results? Then this might be the perfect job for you! ABN AMRO’s operations are becoming increasingly complex. Within the COO, the Business Process Management (BPM)-Process Digitalisation (PD) department has been established to get a better grip on bank-wide process control and accelerate the E2E digitalisation of the bank’s processes. You, Digital Transformation Consultant, have a big role to play in the latter. You participate in a team that is responsible for coordinating and driving the execution of the digitalisation of core E2E processes of ABN AMRO. Are you ready to take on this challenge?

Your job

As a Digital Transformation Consultant, you will participate in a team responsible for coordinating and executing the digitalisation of ABN AMRO’s core end-to-end (E2E) processes. These processes are prioritized by senior management and are therefore crucial for achieving the bank's objectives. You will work closely with the PD Lead and colleagues; together, you are responsible for successfully completing the various phases of E2E process digitalisation (review, design, solution, development, and implementation) within the set timeframe. To achieve this, you mobilize stakeholders across the entire E2E value chain (such as Segments, Product Units, DFC, CC&OPS, CDE, etc.) to collaborate and execute the established priorities. You create clarity in objectives (joint E2E process OKRs), priorities, and planning to enable monitoring and steering of execution. You execute specific projects within the scope of an E2E digitalisation program by managing stakeholder engagement and solving issues. You translate specific needs and objectives from stakeholders into detailed, step-by-step tasks that can be carried out by both business and IT. You identify opportunities for improvement, not only when requested but also on your own initiative. Additionally, you invest in internal and external developments in the fields of process excellence and digitalisation and are capable of translating these insights and developments into the business process management domain. You work in a solution-oriented way: with an innovative and fresh look, you engage with stakeholders involved to design a future state digital process that meets the needs of our customers and organization and can translate this to actionable plans for realization. While doing so, you incorporate relevant internal and external developments. You are curious, structured, result driven and have a strong execution capability.

Working environment

You will work in the Business Process Management department. Our goal: to make processes run smoothly by providing insight into our process landscape, delivering process automation and content management services, and driving the execution of process digitalisation. You will closely collaborate in a professional team of colleagues, mainly other digital transformation managers and colleagues from Product Units (Business Process Owners), Grids ((L)POs, business developers, domain architects), and Strategy Execution & Implementation (LEAN, business implementation managers, etc.). You will also have daily contact with various stakeholders across the entire E2E value chain. You will inspire them with our structured and future-oriented approach to E2E digitalisation and focus on execution.

Your profile

  • A relevant bachelor or university degree.
  • Between 3 and 6+ years’ experience in process digitalisation in the banking sector.
  • Affinity with business process management, operational excellence and business analysis.
  • Proven skills in influencing, consultancy and collaboration in large organizations.
  • Knowledge of (market) developments in the field of automation, digitalisation and IT applications/tooling and/or providers thereof.
  • Knowledge of the IT infrastructure and capabilities of ABN AMRO is considered a plus.
  • Deep knowledge of Scrum, Agile or Lean frameworks.
Willingness to contribute to a future-proof, sustainable digital processes landscape.
  • You easily build relationships and strive for constructive cross departmental collaboration.
  • You recognize the needs and questions of our business sponsors and proactively take action to meet their expectations.

We are offering

  • The gross monthly salary (max. Eur. 7.303) displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget. 40-hour work week is also possible. Salary will be based on knowledge, experience and the potential you bring.
  • The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
