The team is currently in the process of streamlining its data collection process by creating a new Finance & Risk Data Store. We are seeking enthusiastic data analysts who enjoy translating data requirements into reliable integrated data sets. Your contribution will play a vital role in making our data collection processes future proof. 

Your job

Embark on an exciting journey as Data Analyst in the newly formed Consumer Data Set – Reporting team. We are looking for a go-getter who takes initiative to help form and build a team from the ground up. In the initial stages, it’s all about paving the way and figuring out the best way of working. As a Data Analyst in the Consuming Data Set – Reporting team, you play a pivotal role in identifying data requirements for a diverse range of finance & risk data products. In this exciting opportunity, you will help spearhead the development and maturation of the newly developed team. Collaborate with colleagues to translate requirements into clearly defined data products, and on the more technical side you will ensure the team delivers high-quality data sets to end-users within the bank. Your primary focus will be on finance external (granular) reporting and internal reporting. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Help with the development and maturation of the newly formed team
  • Identify data requirements for finance external- and internal reporting
  • Translate requirements into clearly defined data products
  • Collaborate with colleagues to construct and ensure timely delivery of high-quality data sets 
  • Provide an overview of the data quality of delivered data sets and write corresponding data quality reports
  • Contribute to designing the team’s way of working 

Working environment

The Finance & Risk Data Domain is part of Finance & Risk Business Grids (F&RBG), and plays an active role for all the Finance and Risk departments. We employ 250+ international professionals with different backgrounds who are driven to bring data management within Finance & Risk to a structurally higher level. Our aim is to generate reliable finance & risk data on time. We do this by improving the data itself, data systems and data processes. We work with an Agile operating model. Our Finance and Risk Data Domain consists of 5 departments where the atmosphere is dynamic, open and informal.

Your profile

We are seeking energetic individuals with a passion for combining strategic thinking and hands-on execution. If you resonate with the following criteria, you may be the ideal candidate: 

  • Master's degree and relevant work experience in data management in the banking industry, preferably in the Finance and Risk domain
  • Experience working with SQL and Python
  • Azure Knowledge, Data Bricks, ADLS, PySPark, airflow are considered a pré. 
  • Good understanding of regulatory requirements related to finance and risk data 
  • Familiarity with data management frameworks and (data) requirements management.
  • Project management experience
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
