We are constantly looking for ways to improve how we manage our risks and build reports on it. Risk Reports play a pivotal role in accurately reporting the right metrices to the regulatory supervisors and steer on them. These reports rely on accurate data supplied by our  Data Teams as part of ABN AMRO’s Finance and Risk Business Grid. We are looking for experienced, fast learning  Data Analysts who like to translate credit risk data requirements to reliable reporting data sets and are eager to contribute making our data collection processes future proof.

Your job

As a member of the Consumer Data Sets Internal Risk Reporting team, you supply Risk MI and FR&R teams with the data they need to compile risk reports and internal models . On one hand your duties will consist of technical aspects such as SAS/SQL and Python programming, performing Data Quality analyses and integrating datasets. On the other hand you’ll be working on documentation and using your communicative skills for stakeholder alignment. You also play an active role in the frequent team meetings where knowledge-sharing and transparency on progress is key. You will be working in a team that largely consist of highly motivated colleagues with international backgrounds, working in an open and informal atmosphere. Given the importance the regulatory authorities ascribe on the data quality, this is a challenging and impactful role.

Work environment

The Finance & Risk Data Domain is part of Finance & Risk Business Grids (F&RBG), and plays an active role for all the Finance and Risk departments. We employ 250+ international professionals with different backgrounds who are driven to bring risk data management to a structurally higher level. Our aim is to generate reliable risk data on time. We do this by improving the risk data itself, data systems and data processes. We work with an Agile operating model.

If you think this sounds like you, check to see if your profile matches the following:

• a Master’s degree, preferably a beta (STEM) study

• experience in SAS, SQL and/or Python

• ability to analyse data sets

• excellent verbal and written communications skills

• interest in working with Finance and Risk data in a banking environment

• knowledge of risk management in banking or financial institutions is a pre

• experience (2 years) in working with data preferable within Finance & Risk is a pre
