The PwC Technology and Network Information Security (NIS) team at PwC is searching for talented security and technology professionals to build out a new center of excellence in the Netherlands.
Operating on a local, regional and global scale, Network Information Security (NIS) is responsible for the definition of our security strategy to hands on execution of our global Cyber Readiness Program, moving from predominantly local to centralized services. Global Technology is responsible for driving the adoption and operation of global IT services across the organization.

Those in solution architecture at PwC will design and implement innovative technology solutions to meet clients' business needs. You will leverage your experience in analysing requirements, developing technical designs to enable the successful delivery of solutions.

As part of the Integration and Platform Architecture team you shall lead the creation and implementation of impactful security compliance initiatives. As a Manager you shall supervise, develop, and coach teams, manage client service accounts, and drive assigned client engagement workstreams by solving and analyzing complex problems to develop top-quality deliverables. You shall be responsible for understanding architectural design and application delivery, collaborating with other Architects to provide technical design guidance, and keeping up to date with industry trends to recommend third-party applications for PwC employees to leverage.

- Analyse and identify the linkages and interactions between the component parts of an entire system.
- Take ownership of projects, ensuring their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion.
- Partner with team leadership to ensure collective ownership of quality, timelines, and deliverables.

- Effectively mentor others, use the review of work as an opportunity to deepen the expertise of team members.
- Address conflicts or issues, engaging in difficult conversations with clients, team members and other stakeholders, escalating where appropriate.
- Uphold and reinforce professional and technical standards (e.g. refer to specific PwC tax and audit guidance), the Firm's code of conduct, and independence requirements.
- Lead the development and execution of security compliance initiatives
- Supervise, mentor, and coach team members to achieve quality deliverables
- Manage client service accounts and oversee client engagement workstreams
- Analyze and solve complex problems to deliver practical solutions
- Provide technical design guidance in collaboration with other Architects
- Stay informed on industry trends to recommend relevant third-party applications
- Align architectural design and application delivery with firm standards
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
Does this describe you?
- 4 years of experience in progressive roles managing IT architecture, engineering designs and domains
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Systems Analysis, Computer Applications, Computer Engineering, Computer Programming, or Management Information Systems preferred
- Understanding architectural design and application delivery
- Understanding of Microsoft Graph framework principles and deployment considerations
- Demonstrating a thorough understanding of Microsoft Security and Compliance designs and implications to enable global adoption
- Understanding advanced analytical thinking skills with the ability to identify, debug and resolve technical issues
- Understanding lean IT principles and data driven approaches
- Understanding business acumen that can interpret and translate goals into technical specifications to drive technology change
- Building trusting and influential relationships and engaging with vendors and third parties as necessary
- Collaborating with other Architects to provide technical design guidance to align with security strategy and technical standards
